7/24 A childs cry

In the shadows of a broken home,
A child's innocence was stripped away,
By a person who wore a facade of love,
But behind closed doors, they would betray.

They wielded power with a cruel hand,
Inflicting wounds that no one could stand,
And the child suffered in silence,
Afraid to speak, afraid to flee.

For years, the abuse went unnoticed,
Hidden beneath a veil of lies,
As they played the role of a caring step parent,
While tormenting the child with a twisted guise.

But the scars ran deep, the pain was real,
And the child's spirit was slowly crushed,
until the truth was revealed when the child
decided to erase it
Yet still, they carried on with a brave face,
Hoping one day the truth would be revealed.

And finally, the day came when the truth spilled out,
The facade crumbled to the ground,
And the world saw the truth,
The child's voice was finally found.

But the damage had been done, the wounds were deep,
And the child struggled to heal from the past,
Yet the child found strength in God and resilience, was found
Then vowed to break free from the shadows at last.

So let this be a lesson to all who see,
That abuse can hide in plain sight,
But with courage and support, we can break free,
And reclaim our voices, shining ever bright.

8/24. "shared pain"

In the darkness of our shared pain,
We carried a burden, heavy and deep,

A secret we both held close to our hearts,
A secret we both struggle to keep.
Not knowing all of the pain.
So don't delight in our pain.

a person broken and bruised,
By hands that were meant to protect,
And, a child innocent and pure,
But cruelty, wrecked.

A person so quick to distroy life

They hide behind smiles and laughter,
But inside, carried the weight,
Of the abuse that stains the soul,
Where a truth cannot escape.

I see the fear in your eyes,
As memories of the past hurts, are still memories,

that were blocked now released from captivity, and free to speak.

For failing to shield you not knowing your pain.
But together, we stand strong,in spirit and love we regain.

United in our shared pain,
And though the road ahead is long,
We will rise again and again against
the pain and all.

We will break the chains of silence,
And let our voices be heard,
For our truth is a powerful weapon,
Against the darkness that once blurred.

So let us stand tall and brave,
And face our demons head on, For in our unity and

strength, We will find healing and be reborn.

It is difficult to determine an exact percentage of victims of sexual child abuse who go on to become successful adults, as success can be defined in many different ways and can vary from person to person. However, research has shown that many survivors of childhood sexual abuse are able to overcome their trauma and go on to lead fulfilling and successful lives.

Factors that can contribute to a survivor's ability to overcome their abuse and achieve success as an adult include access to supportive resources and therapy, a strong support system of family and friends, resilience and coping skills, and a commitment to healing and personal growth.

It is important to remember that each survivor's journey is unique and that healing from childhood sexual abuse is a complex and ongoing process. With the right support and resources, many survivors are able to thrive and lead successful lives as adults.

To someone: Who is the abuser.....another victum

The broken-ness”
Just a nother victum that could not heal.

Who is the abuser, you may ask
Is it the one lurking in the dark and the past
With sharp teeth and claws to tear
Or is it something far less clear

The abuser is broken, a shattered soul
A victim of abuse, a tale untold
Caught in a cycle they couldn't break
Haunted by memories they couldn't shake

They may seem fierce, they may seem wild
But deep inside, they're still just a child
Hurt and scared, trying to find their way
Struggling to make it through another day

So don't be quick to judge or condemn
For the person you see may just be them
A wounded heart, a troubled mind
Searching for a way to leave the past behind

Let us offer compassion and understanding
To the victums among us, still standing
For they are not beyond hope or grace
They are simply seeking a better place

So let us extend a hand, a listening ear
To the people who are struggling here
For deep within the darkness and the pain
Lies the potential for healing and gain.
